Indian Army on 16th June said that nearly 20 soldiers had been killed during bloodshed in Galwan valley at eastern Ladakh.
Sources say that almost equal number of chinese troops has been killed.
Indian troops were heavily injured at Line of actual control (LAC) at high altitude terrain have succumbed to injuries.
The ministry of External Affairs(MEA) spokesman Srivastava blamed china for the consequences, while china does the same blaming Indian troops for provoking.
He said that India and china have been discussing for de-escalation. But, on late evening of 15th June a violet face-off happened.
Both side suffered causalities, which might have been avoided with smooth escalation.
This is the first big Indian casualty at border after 1975 October.
